About Gail Fischer

Gail Fischer is a fine art photographer whose work unites her imagery with process, while capturing anonymous everyday life. She prints on handmade paper, which is textural and gives a dimensionality that resembles illustration.

She has exhibited in featured shows in the Main Gallery of the Newton Free Public Library and in the Illumination Program of the Massachusetts General Hospital. Juried group shows include The New England Biennial, Danforth Art Museum; The Art Complex Museum; Plymouth Center for the Arts and Zullo Gallery. Her work is in the collections of Massachusetts General Hospital, Valley Hospital/NY Presbyterian and private collections.

A native of Kentucky with many years in New York City as a public relations photographer, Fischer now resides in Massachusetts. She holds a BFA in Photography and Art History from Northern Kentucky University.
